TRIG Best Practices Apple Academy

Attention all ISDs LEA's, and REMC's:

The TRIG Device Purchasing Activity is pleased to let you know that individuals from schools and ISDs who have purchased Apple technology through the Michigan 22i Technology Readiness Infrastructure Grant are eligible to apply for the 2017 TRIG Best Practices Apple Academy.

The Apple Education Trainer Program will authorize individuals from selected K-12 eligible agencies. Once authorized, Apple Education Trainers can help educators curate, create, and publish digital learning materials with Apple products.

During the three consecutive day event, you'll experience how to:

  • Make the most effective use of iPad or Mac as a tool for learning and teaching.

  • Make learning and assessment more engaging by creating nonlinear interactive learning activities that foster critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity.

  • Explore the iBooks Store, iTunes Store, Mac App Store, and App Store, and learn how to select valuable resources appropriate to instructional needs, based on a quality rubric.

  • Personalize, manage, and share learning by creating custom iTunes U courses.

You'll leave the experience excited, energized, and ready to enhance your digital learning environments.

Program benefits:

  • Understand the Apple Professional Learning Specialist approach to creating an open and constructive learning environment.

  • Content delivered through an iTunes U course.

  • The Apple Education Trainer logo.

  • Access to your Apple Professional Learning Specialist delivery team.
